Last night I got the VR blog up on my site. I’ve decided not to launch it until I’ve got a substantial number of posts on there. Hopefully that will be in the next week or so.
At work today I finished the film concept deck. And I even managed to work up a film poster for a film called ‘Experimenter’. The film is a film about the Stanley Milgram Experiment, which for those that don’t know, is an experiment conducted to try and work how German soldiers lacked empathy when executing Jews during the holocaust. It was to see if an authority figure was ultimately responsible. This is some footage from the real experiment and the trailer below.
I’ve taken visuals from the real experiment and worked them into an alterative poster that works with the style of the official one. There are a few tweaks that I need to make to it, but I’ll be sure to share it once it’s finished.
I also managed to get some stickers printed for a little stunt we’re pulling to try and get some attention on Casey Neistat's mail time episodes. Not sure if it’s going to work, but it’s worth a try.
This evening I’m going to try and rework my priorities. I feel I’m spreading myself a little thin at the moment and I’ve got lots of semi-completed work that needs finishing. I also need to work out if the end of September is still possible for the FOBI event. I really want it to be because then I can just concentrate on starting my course. But If I’m going to launch a Kickstarer campaign, I really need to do that soon and so far I’ve got very little prepared.
Just I was about to publish Charles my housemate has suggested we go and watch The Gift tonight. So I'll be doing my life planning while on the bus to the Peckham Plex.
