Mark Hahnel

Mark Hahnel is the founder of Fig Share, an online digital repository where researchers can preserve and share their research outputs, including figures, datasheets, images, videos and more. Having just completed his PHD in stem cell biology at Imperial Collage London, Mark started Figshare inorder to promote open science, giving everyone the ability to freely access research papers from academics all over the world. Mark joins us to talk about how he built the company, and some of the challenges he’s faced along the way.
